REFRESH is designed to provide children with gospel-centered lessons, in a safe and fun environment.  Our volunteers are committed to discipleship, and feel called to live that out through teaching the Word of God to children.  The Lord gave the primary responsibility of biblical teaching to parents, and Refresh is committed to partnering with families to provide support and supplemental teaching.  Our desire is to create a lifelong love of God, the Bible and church in the children at Lake Sharon Community Church.  We want children to come to know Jesus and be transformed by the Word.  Our ministry goal is to REFRESH the hearts of children and families through God’s teachings and His love.

Babies >>-->

Nursery is available during the 10:30 service.  Our volunteers LOVE babies and pray over each one of them as they nurture, play and explore.

Preschool >>-->

(Age 2 through kindergarten) Classes are offered in 10:30 service.  The Bible stories presented each week point to our 5 foundational truths: Jesus came to save sinners, God is in Charge of everything, God wants to talk to me, God is good, and God made everything.   There are crafts, singing, stories, guided and free play in our preschool ministry.

Elementary >>-->

(Kindergarten-5th grade) The Refresh worship service is offered during the 10:30 hour, following the music portion of the main service.  During this time, we have teaching, praise and worship, games, and small groups.  We use the Gospel Project curriculum to teach children a Christ-centered view of Scripture. Our leaders invest in KNOWING the children and praying for them individually.

For the health of our ministry and the protection of our kids, all volunteers are background checked.  Children must be fever, vomit and diarrhea free for 24 hours to attend.
